Bands on The Basin 2026: A Floathouse Petaluma Tradition

Bands on The Basin is a Covid-era creation that’s become a full-fledged Petaluma tradition—and quite possibly the best outdoor concert of the year, every year.

Held on the Petaluma River in the heart of downtown, this is the only concert in Sonoma County you can attend by boat, paddleboard, or water bike. Bring your own watercraft or rent one of ours and enjoy live music from the water while floating, pedaling, lounging, and soaking up the uniquely Petaluma vibe.

Band lineup and final schedule coming soon. For planning purposes, we’re currently holding Saturday, July 11, 2026 with an earlier, shorter daytime window than past years.

• Rentals on this day are limited to 2-hour sessions only
