Volunteer at The Floathouse

Do you love being near the water and helping folks enjoy time outdoors? The Floathouse may be the perfect fit for you. We have volunteer opportunities for helping out on the dock during the weekends, for going out on the water during regular events (like Full Moon Paddles and Upstream High Tide Paddles), and for a whole range of duties for our big events like Bands on The Basin, Witches & Wizards on The Water, and Community or VIP Seating for the Lighted Boat Parade.

What do you get in return, besides that wonderful warm feeling inside that comes from “putting butts in boats and smiles on faces?” Well, we pay you in free boating time! We have 17 different kinds of people-powered watercraft, and you can borrow any of them, free of charge! (Within reason, of course!)

Sign up here to help us get people out onto “Petaluma’s longest park”, the Petaluma River. We accept volunteers aged 15 and over. (Adults welcome too!)
