Full Harvest Moon Paddle / Pedal
Saturday, September 26, 2026 | 6-8 pm
Celebrate the Harvest Moon with an early-evening paddle on the Petaluma River—Petaluma’s Longest Park—when moonrise comes just before sunset, creating a rare and beautiful overlap of glowing sky, lingering daylight, and rising moon.
This guided, small-group experience (just 10 guests) takes place in our comfortable, stay-dry deluxe Hobie pedal kayaks, making it easy to relax, connect, and enjoy the view. With the moon already climbing as the sun slips away, the evening promises a different perspective than our later-night moon paddles—softer light, expansive skies, and a sense of ease that invites reflection and gratitude.
The Harvest Moon has long been a time to give thanks for the bounty of the earth. Here in Petaluma, we honor the river itself—its central role in the city’s history, its present-day beauty, and the community that continues to gather around it.
The timing is ideal: enjoy an early dinner or drinks downtown before launching, then linger afterward for late snacks and conversation. As a bonus, all participants receive 15% off at TAPS on The River following the paddle.
Includes kayak, PFD, lights, knowledgeable local guide, and a shared moonlit experience on the water.
