Moving Comes At A Cost. Can You Help Out?

It wasn't as simple as it may have looked, but The Floathouse is back in the Turning Basin after two plus years. Behind this summer's busy Floathouse boating scene, the move took months of planning and preparation, not to mention weeks of low tide hand dredging (raking mud with landscape rakes). It also took a lot of Floathouse friends, who volunteered to lift and launch new sections of dock, and to help paddle and power the whole setup across the basin for final prep and then again, back to our original location—our original gateway to Petaluma’s Longest Park, the Petaluma River.

While we appreciated our time at the foot of the Water Street gangway, after a few weeks back at home, we're happy to be back in the heart of the basin—right where our community expects to find us.

As one might expect, the move wasn't cheap and we still need to raise $3,000+ to pay the bills we've accumulated along the way. Our spring fundraiser got us close, but we're still a bit short of our goal.  Are you willing to help out and help us finish this move?
